What’s New?

What’s new at the Texas Renaissance Festival this year? You’ve probably heard there has been a weekend added this year and the festival is opening a week earlier than in years previous, but did you hear about the addition of glamping? What about the bridge to nowhere?

Bridge to Nowhere

It looks nice, but it doesn’t go anywhere, except to a fence at the back of the site.

Or maybe you plan to look for that promised expansion to the festival grounds? (Spoiler Alert: didn’t happen) With all these interesting discussions about what’s new at the festival this year, you may not have heard about what we consider one of the best: an additional gate was added to the entrance of the festival for this year!

We’re hoping to reduce the wait as you enter or leave the festival, but the best part is that we’ll need even more Beefeaters! You can never get enough of the Beefeaters, right? In addition to a new Beefeaters, we will be sporting new tunics and new hats. It’s like a New Coat of Paint!

See you at the gates… Until then, ‘Fare thee well!’
