Who's Guarding Your Gate?
By The Numbers: 2016 Week Six
This is the week last year we finally got break in the bad weather that plagued the festival all season, and it was a big one. This year the weather was near-perfect for being outdoors, and again it was a busy weekend. This is kind of weather we look forward to all summer.
Almost near identical numbers this weekend last year. I guess if the weather is good, this is what we can expect for Barbarian Invasion weekend. The nice weather seemed to put everyone in a nice mood, and a good time was had by all.
|2016||Clear, High 78°, Low 55°, 55% Humidity||Cloudy to Partly Cloudy, High 72°, Low 55°, 52% Humidity|
|2015||Partly Cloudy, High 71°, Low 51°, 60% Humidity||Partly cloudy, High 75°, Low 54°, 70% Humidity|
Near identical weather to sixth weekend last season and near identical attendance, not a coincidence I’m sure. This is the kind of weather you hope for when working or attending an outdoor festival. I wish every weekend had weather like this one.
The forecast for the coming weekend looks nice, but a little chilly for wearing a kilt. Highland Fling is always popular, (except with the sheep), so look for another big weekend ahead!
See you at the gates… Until then, ‘Fare thee well!’
