Who's Guarding Your Gate?
By The Numbers: 2016 Week Five
Coming off School Days fifth weekend and the Roman Bacchanal seems to be one of the less popular weekends for attendance. I don’t know if because of where it falls on the calendar, or the theme or if it’s something else but it left me wondering what the weekend would bring.
By no means would I call those numbers bad, but they buck the trend of the previous four weeks. Looking back a couple years when weather wasn’t a factor to 2013 and the numbers are almost identical. I guess all other thigs being equal that’s what we can expect for fifth weekend.
|2016||Partly Cloudy, High 75°, Low 65°, 63% Humidity||Partly Cloudy, Afternoon Rain (0.45in.), High 78°, Low 61°, 67% Humidity|
|2015||Light Rain (0.13in.), High 65° (6a.m.), Low 54°, 97% Humidity||Mostly Sunny, High 70°, Low 51°, 80% Humidity|
The forecast going into the weekend was good and in the event it was nice, if a little warm for those of us in heavy garb, but it certainly wasn’t the weather keep people away. Sunday’s evening rain storm came too late to affect attendance, but it sure cleared out the park in a hurry!
The forecast for the coming weekend looks like a good time to be wearing fur, so Barbarian Invasion it is!
See you at the gates… Until then, ‘Fare thee well!’
